This was done during one of my classes at "Bezalel"
Acadamy for fine arts and design in Jerusalem where i study Animation. our assignment was to find a film we like and to design for it a new poster. i chose one of my favorie film martin scorseze's "the departed". the film talks about lies, about pretending to be someone else. and the two main characters a cop pretending to be a criminal and acriminal pretending to be a cop need to find each others true idendity in order to save themselves. they are torn within themselves and the person they need to become. that's why i tried to take to different persons and make them apear to be the same gut, the picture is cut in the middle and being seperated by black and white, to show their 2 sides and the choices they have to make. it was done using photoshop cs. |
